While in Beverly Hills you will take a tour around all of the celebrity homes. Located in Beverly Hills is Rodeo Drive. This palm-lined street provides upscale shopping, including Prada, Gucci, Valentino, Armani, Versace, Dior and many more. Opened May 18, 1927, this historical theatre, located in Hollywood, has been home to many red carpet movie premieres and three Academy Awards ceremonies. Among the theatre’s most unique features is the Forecourt of the Stars, which includes the signatures, footprints, and handprints of popular movie stars. Griffith Observatory is one of the most famous and visited landmarks in Los Angeles. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a popular attraction on any educational tour of L.A. The Hollywood Walk of Fame consists of more than 2,400 brass stars implanted in the sidewalks along fifteen blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood. The stars are permanent tributes to the accomplishments of those in the entertainment industry. Walk of Fame also has three dogs: Strongheart (predecessor of Rin-Tin-Tin), Rin-Tin-Tin and Lassie. Godzilla, Kermit the Frog and Big Bird are also featured.

The Getty Center is a campus for the J. Paul Getty Trust founded by oilman J. Paul Getty. The center is well known for its pre-20th-century European paintings, drawings, sculptures, and more. The museum also displays 19th and 20th-century American and European photographs. One of the favorites displayed is a painting by Vincent van Gogh. The center also has beautiful outdoor sculptures displayed on terraces and in gardens. This educational tour of the museum will provide a great cultural experience for your students.

There are so many rides and attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood that it can take up a full day. Your kids will love Transformers™ 3-D ride, King Kong 360 3-D, and the Jurassic Park ride, just to name a few. While on your student group tour, they can also get a behind-the-scenes tour to explore Hollywood’s most famous back-lot in the world’s largest working movie studio.
